My mom was funny, too, so in some ways I’m glad she died in 2014, well before all this insanity. She liked to say if you’re not a liberal at 20 you don’t have a heart. If you’re not a conservative at 40 you don’t have a brain, or something like that, and with my dad in charge of the remote, who knows How she may’ve turned, or him, for that matter.
